International applications to study in the UK rise again for 2018

UCAS have revealed that international undergraduate applications to study in the UK have increased again during 2018.

In total, 50,130 EU applications and 75,380 applications from outside the EU were sent to UCAS for the forthcoming academic year, representing a 2% and 6% rise for countries in the EU and outside of Europe respectively. UCAS’s chief executive, Clare Marchant, said of the numbers: “The significant increases in applications from EU and international students demonstrate the continuing popularity of UK higher education.”
