Richmond University wins best ‘International Student Experience’ award

Richmond University, the American International University in London, has won the best ‘International Student Experience’ prize at the inaugural Independent Higher Education awards.

Richmond won the award in large part due its Department of Student Affairs who host an ‘international week’ every Autumn term to celebrate the community’s diversity through art, music, food, language and culture. Le Cordon Bleu, a specialist culinary and hospitality College, finished runner up.

Richmond University offer a traditional American Liberal Arts education, and all students will graduate with a British and American degree. The University pride themselves on a small class experience (average 16 students per undergraduate class and 13 for postgraduate), with high contact time (normally 15 taught hours per week for undergraduates).
