UK universities impress in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022: Economics table

Three UK universities have ranked in the global top 10 for the study of Economics following the publication of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022.

The London School of Economics is ranked 6th in the world, and the best in the UK for economics, whilst the Oxbridge pair of University of Oxford and University of Cambridge finished 8th and 10th overall respectivley. University College London and the University of Warwick also finished in the global top 25.

The QS World University Rankings by Subject is a global survey of over 1,300 universities, with QS employing a mix of academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per paper and an H-index, which is a measure of both the productivity and impact of the work published by the institutions' academics.
